Delete your account in the app
- Open ShiftBuddy and sign in.
- Tap the Profile tab.
- Tap Delete account.
- Read what will be deleted, then confirm.
Your account is deleted right away and you're signed out on that phone.
Delete your account on the web
Sign in at shiftbuddy.powertechapps.com/account/delete, type DELETE to confirm, and tap Delete my account.
Don't have the app anymore? Request deletion
Fill in this form, or email hello@powertechapps.com from the address on your account. We'll email you to confirm the account is yours, then complete the deletion within 30 days and let you know when it's done.
What's deleted and what's kept
Deleted permanently
- Your sign-in. You won't be able to sign in again.
- Your name, email address and phone number.
- Your check-in selfies and checklist photos.
- Your upcoming shifts, availability, positions and paid-time-off balance.
- Your notifications, notification settings and push tokens for your phones.
- Pending time-off requests (withdrawn).
Kept by your store, with your name removed
Your store needs some records for payroll and labor law, so these stay with your name replaced by “Former employee”: past shifts, check-in and check-out times and locations, time-off history and completed tasks. They are deleted within 90 days after the store closes its ShiftBuddy account, unless the law requires them to be kept longer.
Deleted data may remain in encrypted backups for a short time until they're overwritten. Read more in our privacy policy.
Store owners
Because your account holds your whole store, owners can't delete it from the app while the store is open. Use the form above (choose Owner) or email hello@powertechapps.com, and we'll help you export your records, close the store and delete your account.
